JOANA ROMÃO | works

I was born in may 1989 in Porto.

I graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of Minho, convinced that journalism would be the profession I would embrace.

On this journey I fell in love with the world behind the cameras. Growing curiosity about the video, above all, for editing, organizing the images and creating stories and narratives.

After I concluded my degree, I chose a masters in Realização: Cinema and TV in Escola Superior Artística do Porto. I completed this life project in june 2012 and sucessfully defended my dissertation in january of the next year.

I consider myself an interested, dedicated and extremely responsible person. I like to meet deadlines and whenever possible anticipate them. I am open to new knowledge and learning that increases my know-how with the objective of continuous progression.
